The Group was founded by Sri Gajadharji Makharia in 1962. Consequentially, the members of Makharia family followed Sri Gajadharji Makharia with high attitude of commitment and industry with the objective of building a socio-economic culture and this approach remains enshrined in the Group's ethos to this day.

It started with a modest processing capacity of 100 bales per day and grew to become the most modern Ginning & Pressing unit with a capacity of 1500 bales per day.

It is located at Rampur Road Industrial area of Adilabad, 2km from the market with 300kms radius of cotton growing fields. Adilabad being the oldest cotton center of India enjoys cotton arrivals of 4 lakh metric tones of raw cotton on average per season. Cotton varieties of 28 to 32 staple length with 04 micronnaire value and 23gtex strength is commonly available in this region.

The top management is committed to quality in cotton processing. The technicians are carefully trained in quality processes in the plant and machinery operations. It is necessary to have a trained work force to handle contamination free cotton bales. Our technical staff is periodically trained at Ginning Training Center (ATIRA), Ahmedabad, a Govt. of India undertaking. They hone their skills continuously for optimum setting of machines to produce cotton fibre with best morphological parameters. The management adopts best cotton handling practices for quality output.
